She had worn glasses since her twenties. Three opticians. Same answer every time. Genetic. Structural. Nothing to be done. She was already doing most things right: seed cycling, ghee, kefir, warm water, daily walks. What she did not know was what her optic nerve was carrying that no eye test was measuring. Six weeks into the programme her eyes stopped hurting. By month four her sleep had transformed. And somewhere in the middle she discovered, on her own, that the oil she was applying before bed was disrupting her sleep, and switched it before being told to. Her eyes are pain-free.
